Old Adirondack - Tahawus Square Table
This large scale table works wonders for picnics and parties. Tahawus means 'cloud splitter' in an Eastern Woodland Native American dialect. This name is reflected in the table's design. The sides resemble the pattern clouds make on a sunny day. The table is 36" long by 36" wide, making it ideal for parties and gatherings. It will make a lovely addition to any patio or deck.
This product is made from Northern white cedar. Northern white cedar is unique, because it is naturally resistant to wood rot and pests. It is extremely light weight, yet it can resist cracking, splintering, or swelling. Cedar products can last 25-30 years unfinished. It will be shipped in its natural golden color. You can leave it like that, or stain it with a water based oil stain. Protect your cedar furniture with the Staining Kit. If you leave it as is, it will naturally weather to a silver gray. This is normal and adds to the character of the piece. The choice is up to you!
Some Assembly Required.
Note: This is a side table, not a dining table.
